Dangers on wearing high heels while driving wheels

It’s time to dig out your flats when getting behind the wheel and throw your favourite heels in the back seat.
A study in Britain has making high heels are for more than 12 million women.
The study called stilettos inappropriate footwear for driving and said women risked their lives by driving in heels.
According to Sheillas’ Whells, 80 percent of female motorists wear improper footwear while driving.
I must admit, I am planning to do this because of thinking it so sexy and cool but now I knew it’s a bad habit.
I am just another woman who loves wearing high heels…like hello!
Drivers who wear inappropriate footwear such as high heels, that interfere with the control of the vehicle, could be opening themselves to the possibility of being charged with careless driving if they were involved in an accident.
I’m sure no one wants to risk that.
I certainly don’t.
As women, we regularly put ourselves in pain in order to look sexy and gorgeous – hence, the fascination with wearing high heels. This no longer has to be the case.
Cleo’s magazine junior fashion editor featured the top three shoes to wear behing the wheel – ones that will keep you safe, but also stylish.
Ballet flats which can be fit into handbag.
Converse or canvas sneakers – comfy and cool.
Gladiator or T Bar sandals – any dressy sandal that’s not a thong always looks good and is easy to drive in.
What a fabulous excuse for a new pair of shoes! High heels, wedged and thongs can seriously hamper your ability to drive safely and could have fatal consequences. It only takes a few seconds to change your shoes, so as a group, let’s work together to combat the issue: that heels and wheels don’t mix.

For attractive lips , speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes , seek out the good in people. For beautiful hair , let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day. For poise , walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

go gurl!

January 1st, 2010 at 8:27 pmGood work writing this. I recently wrote something along these lines for a new squidoo lens. My sister, who is a avid blogger, saw this article and mentioned that I might be interested because of the similarities to mine. Since it is related I will bookmark this blog for future references.
